La Palabra de Cristo is a ministry publishing Christian books in Spanish. Our mission is to equip Spanish-speaking Christians for discipleship and for leadership in the church.
La Palabra de Cristo not only publishes Christian books in Spanish but also visits mission works in the Hispanic world to share not only the books but life itself with Spanish-speaking believers. We have visited mission works in Colombia, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, and Belize.
Our newest book is Comó prepararse para ser líder efectivo en la congregación, Sam Stone’s How to Be an Effective Church Leader translated into Spanish and adapted to Hispanic culture by 50-year veteran missionary Dale Meade.
Our Story
On a mission trip to Colombia, we became aware of the need for solid theological resources for the church in Colombia and other Spanish-speaking countries. Our mission host encouraged us to consider launching such a ministry, and after much prayer and counsel, we started La Palabra de Cristo.
After returning home, we spent considerable time in prayer, seeking God’s direction and gathering counsel from trusted spiritual leaders. It became clear that God was calling us to step out in faith. Thus, La Palabra de Cristo was born, a ministry dedicated to producing and distributing Christ-centered theological resources in Spanish, with the goal of equipping and empowering churches across Latin America to grow in their understanding of Scripture and to proclaim the gospel with clarity and conviction.
